As you can tell, my family came out to our place to help me celebrate my birthday! It was my first birthday away from home (ok ok I know it's lame) and they made it special for me :). My mom always made a big deal out of birthdays, and being so close to Christmas I was always home for mine (hey there IS something good about Dec birthdays!!) - the birthdays signs, and picking what meals she made that day, and not having to do dishes (oh what i would give now...) or any other chores, and getting birthday presents along with a brand new birthday outfit. :) And then you grow up and leave home and birthdays are a normal day - reality check! :) So, thanks fam!!

happy late late bithday. oh heavens, sorry i missed it. if i'm still your vt next year i will come do your dishes next year. it is kinda sad that birthdays are just another day when you get older. i've had a couple of lame-o birthdays the past few years. but it looks like you still had a good party with a fun cake!
