1. Ava has become very good at telling me no. So fun! ;)
2. I love yoga - I go on Monday nights and this week we mixed in some pilates and glider things - anyway it was so fun and it kicked my butt. Loved it.
3. I am so tired. I think Ava is still adjusting to kids coming over every day because she has been getting up multiple times every night. I think maybe it's teeth too because it's not normal so I keep getting up to check on her. Basically I just haven't been sleeping from 12-2 every night. Tired kid and tired mom - not a good combo. ;) Fingers crossed for tonight!
Two tired cranky babies while babysitting.
4. I printed out a planner from Crystal Wilkerson to try. I usually use my phone for everything but I love paper and not staring at a screen at all day so I am giving it a try.
5. I downloaded some free kindle books from Amazon and I've read 4 books in the last week. I used to do that all the time but I haven't been reading at all lately so it's been nice to get back into books!
6. I've been emailing new brides and grooms for the year and am getting excited for wedding season! I am planning a fun shoot with a bride and groom soon and I'm excited! It will be fun to shoot for myself. One of my goals this year is working on personal photography projects.
7. We had a little night for the teachers in our primary and I made the invitation - I have been trying to work on my design skills. A few months ago I finally discovered creating paths using existing images in Photoshop, and then exporting the paths into Illustrator, which basically means that now I can make any shape I want really easily, and then make it any size I want which is awesome. I am such a nerd but I love Adobe anything. Ha.
8. I am catching up on all of my scrapbooking using Project Life and I'm so excited to get photos printed and into albums. They aren't the fanciest but they're getting done, which is the goal. My sister and my mom and I are getting together every few weeks to work on organizing pictures, sharing pictures and helping each other date old ones.
9. I love my carseat. Well, Ava's. I have been needing to adjust the straps higher since she's growing so fast, and I've been putting it off because I hate taking apart the whole carseat to re-thread the straps through. Well, with this one all I have to do is squeeze a piece and lift. Ha. Doesn't get easier than that! Worth every penny. :) And I'm not sure why I didn't figure that out sooner....
10. I'm on a decorating committee for a women's conference that is happening this weekend and we had to take photos of women for some of the decorations. It was really fun, even though we had a short time-frame and we still have to get them printed and mounted and up by Thursday night and this week is crazy! But I am excited to see them up.
I was trying to get photos in the studio, for the conference, and then decided to grab Ava for a selfie.
Aunt Shelley cleaned house and gave Ava some new toys
She loves drinking out of a big girl cup.
This was on Instagram. She loves to try on the shoes/boots of all the kids that come during the day. She put these on and was walking around when I noticed it. I took a picture as she was walking toward me, and then she kept walking right to the front door, which she openedand walked out onto the porch. I have an escape artist! My doorknobs are way too easy to open.
Ava's other new tricks - downward dog, putting things on her head, rocking herself in her chair. Sleeping is not one of her new tricks but I went in and loved her position so I took a chance and fired a flash right in her face. She didn't wake up!
Trying to come up with ways to entertain 3 year old girls!
