- My baby girl is already 2 1/2 months old!
- Ava loves to 'talk' to us now and is smiling a lot. I love her baby babble and her huge smiles!
- I can't believe how much cheaper Costco diapers are.
- I should have started working out by now but I haven't. I didn't make any New Year's resolutions about working out. I'm counting bouncing Ava for now.
- I love Pinterest.
- I love my iPhone. I can actually send and receive pics and videos now which means my mom and dad and siblings get regular updates on Ava. And her dad's workday is a little brighter.
- I love my Menu Planner app. I love having a meal plan.
- I'm already looking forward to reunions this summer.
- I started shooting again and almost froze to death shooting an engagement session. Ok not really but it was COLD! I'm booking weddings for the year ahead and it already makes me miss my baby. But I'm excited to get back at it.
- I love being a mom!
And because a post without a picture is lame, here are some random phone pics:

Ava's Blessing
Ava's Grandma Nancy made her blessing dress for her:
Our baby girl!
Clark was nervous that Ava would cry, and as he walked up to the front of the church with her, she did start to cry, but when Grandpa Doug started talking to her she settled down and was quiet for the blessing. And her dad did a great job! :)
We had our families over for lunch after, and the awesome thing about family is that they bring some of the food! It was nice to have everyone over - a little crazy but fun. I didn't have my camera most of the time - my sister took a lot of these:
My sister and her family came up from Idaho for the blessing - her girls were so excited to meet their newest cousin! Ava evened out the gender ratio in my family - now we have 3 girls and 3 boys.
She was so excited to take pictures at the end of the day:
I love that when I don't have my camera I get pictures like this
We love our Ava Nicole!
(Sorry, once again unedited but I'm trying to get caught up and my baby only sleeps for so long!)

Christmas
We spent Christmas Eve with Clark's family, and Christmas Day with mine.
Ava with her grandmas and grandpas:
We took the one with Clark's parents just as we were leaving, but when she's out of her carseat, usually this is what happens with her Holt grandparents too:
Ava & Mom :)
Since Christmas landed on Sunday this year, we went to church with my parents.
After Christmas, my dad's side had their mostly-annual get-together - Torrie Day! :)
This is our 4-generation picture - Ava, me, my dad, and my dad's mom:
My closest cousins. Taking a picture in front of the church in this order became a tradition when we were younger, so we recreated it:
We had a great Christmas this year - nice and simple and pretty quiet.
I thought this little onesie was cute:
These aren't edited - I'm not finding a ton of time to edit my own pics, but at least I have pictures of her!
We hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
